{"id":620,"date":"2020-11-25T02:57:31","date_gmt":"2020-11-25T02:57:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dft.wiki\/?p=620"},"modified":"2020-11-25T03:34:22","modified_gmt":"2020-11-25T03:34:22","slug":"high-availability-sync-in-pfsense","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dft.wiki\/?p=620","title":{"rendered":"High Availability Sync in pfSense"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>High Availability Sync is the feature that pfSense uses to synchronize configuration from a Master to a Slave, transferring configuration setup over one chosen interface.<\/p>\n<p>On the Master, go to System &gt; High Availability Sync.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Check the box &#8220;Synchronize States&#8221;,<\/li>\n<li>Choose the interface through where the configuration will be transferred,<\/li>\n<li>Insert the IP of the Slave in &#8220;Synchronize Config to IP&#8221;,<\/li>\n<li>Type username and password of the administrator or any other user with enough privileges,<\/li>\n<li>Check the box &#8220;Taggle All&#8221; to allow full synchronization,<\/li>\n<li>Then &#8220;Save&#8221;.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>At this point, you should create one user and see if it will be copied to the slave.
